About our Chapter

We are the first National Charity League, Inc. (NCL, Inc.) Chapter formed in the Kansas City metro area and in the State of Kansas. Our Chapter was formed on March 31, 2004 as the 121st NCL, Inc. Chapter in the country. We were Chartered on March 12, 2006.

We strive to live out the NCL pillars of community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences through engaging, fun, and thought-provoking programming each year.

We share a common desire to nurture the mother-daughter relationship and to help others through our engagement in the community.

We continue to become more socially aware and conscious of the needs in our community due to our involvement with philanthropy partners.

We have nearly 300 members currently active in our Chapter.

We are mothers who work full-time, part-time and stay at home. We are daughters in the 7th-12th grades who attend a variety of schools, and are involved with many other activities and interests.

We are all residents of Johnson County, Kansas as required of members per our governing documents.

We support philanthropy partners throughout the Kansas City Metro area.

It all ties back to the vision of our organization: through the mother-daughter relationship, National Charity League, Inc. will develop strong women leaders serving and impacting communities today and for generations to come. Our Heart of Kansas City Chapter Members are a diverse group, but we share a commitment to that vision. We invite other mothers and daughters to join us in living out that vision.

Thank you for your interest in our Chapter!
